Paul Whybrow

Paul Whybrow is currently the SMPTE chair (Society of Motion Picture Television Engineers) for Australia, New Zealand, and South Pacific. He has a wide-ranging career in the media, entertainment, technology, and education sectors. Whybrow’s experience includes roles with the BBC, Foxtel, Fairfax, Seven, Capgemini, and Cognizant. His consulting business has included working for Telstra Broadcast Services, Coca Cola, and ADMA. Whybrow currently leads his business, Vårda Creative Leadership, using his passion for leadership to design and facilitate courses and be a leadership credential assessor.

As a strong advocate of Creative Leadership skills, Whybrow’s work has been underpinned by the framework of “imagine the possibilities and craft the practical.” This approach has constantly encouraged innovative strategic growth whilst resolving the practical realities and risks of business operational delivery and nurturing personal growth.
